It is true that people in Hong Kong are gradually losting their rights and freedom. It is a tragedy because all those years under the British policy, Hong Kong had became a very successful, wealthy and is one of the big business centers. Under the British policy, all people have equal rights and are encouraged to vote in elections. This worked well until the election of the Hong Kong's next chief executive.
In the election of the next chief executive, people in Hong Kong had no choices, there was one appointed "winner" by China.
