I believe banning homosexuals from becoming teachers is a bad idea. As what Gloria Loo said, banning homosexuals from becoming teachers seems to have attacked their personal human rights. Everyone have the freedom to become what they want to be. Homosexuals too, are human, just like any heterosexuals. The main purpose that the Thailand government banned homosexuals from becoming teachers is that they don't want the education of their students be affected. But I believe a good education also require students to learn that they should not judge people because they are, by somewhat, different from others (e.g. homosexuals). I did not see any point that teachers who are homosexuals can affect their students because I believe that they can control their personal lifestyle in school. I hope the Thailand government can reconsider their decision, thus at the same time, other countries can recognized that Thailand is a democratic country.
