RESOLUTION WRITING

PLEASE NOTE:    Included below are text-only excerpts from the section on resolution writing in GEMUN's Delegation Handbook for elementary/middle school students. This information is deliberately simplified for use by primary school students, and will be useful to UNOL participants, not only for those inexperienced in writing resolutions, but for the sake of consistency within the UNOL.

According to Random House College Dictionary, a resolution is 'a formal expression of opinion or intention made, usually after voting, by a formal body.'
